The place was good old and unique, no complaints, 100% recommend. Loved our huge and fabulous rooms, plus the staff was outstandingly accommodating. Booked a room with antique furnishings. The food was good and the breakfast was substantial.

Every time we go to Sintra, we always choose to stay at Quinta De Sao Thiago. the family-owned hotel has a variety of charming and comfortable rooms. - the location of the property is fantastic, nestled next to the stunning Almoçageme forest, far from crowded tourist areas and close to Sintra's enchanting castles. - Additionally, it's only 3 miles away from a picturesque Romanticist castle. - the breakfast provided is delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

The Quinta De Sao Thiago had a delightful vintage decor, with antique furniture and beautiful paintings adorning the walls. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The accessibility for senior people was impressive, with easy access to amenities and spacious rooms that were designed with comfort and safety in mind.
Wished the children working there were more attentive and friendly.

Stayed in a 16th-century country house with stunning gardens and a pool. Enjoyed playing tennis, pretending to be athletic. Managed to survive the treacherous roads and visit the fabulous palaces nearby.
Who needs a car anyway? The roads were so much fun to navigate, especially the unclear signage.

Amazing house with a super warm welcome! Beautiful surroundings and the perfect place to relax or explore nearby towns for delicious meals. Highly recommended. Breathtaking scenery, charming old family home with stunning views, and a delicious breakfast in a historic dining room. Plenty of private seating areas and a fabulous courtyard. Quiet and peaceful location, with scenic views that are even better in person. Private pool, interesting property, and a short walk to nearby attractions. We will definitely return!
